Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera

Ready to snap back in time? The LEGO® Ideas Polaroid OneStep SX-70 Camera (21345) is a loving, true-to-life tribute to one of the most iconic cameras ever made, reimagined entirely in LEGO bricks. Whether you grew up shaking Polaroid prints to make them develop faster (even though you didn't need to) or you're a design lover drawn to the camera's unmistakable 1970s silhouette, this 516-piece buildable model invites you to slow down, savor the details, and celebrate the pure analog joy of instant photography.

Every element of this build has been engineered to capture the personality of the original OneStep. The signature boxy body, rainbow stripe accent, folding viewfinder, and oversized shutter button all come together through clever brick techniques and thoughtful part choices. As you work your way through the build, you'll discover charming mechanical touches: a working viewfinder you can look through, a shutter button that clicks, and a front slot where a brick-built instant photograph pops out, just like the real thing. It's a hands-on construction experience that rewards curiosity and patience in equal measure.

Once finished, the model is a conversation-starting display piece that looks right at home on a bookshelf, desk, or studio corner. It arrives with a small set of buildable "developed" photos and a nostalgic flashbar accessory, so the whole scene feels like a snapshot of a creative era. For adults aged 18 and up, it's a satisfying weekend project and a thoughtful gift for photographers, designers, collectors of LEGO Ideas sets, or anyone who still believes a physical photo is a little bit of magic you can hold in your hand.
