Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter

Ready for an awe-inspiring aviation challenge? Lift off with the LEGO® Technic Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter (42145), an officially licensed, highly detailed replica of one of the most advanced search-and-rescue helicopters flying today. Developed in close collaboration with Airbus Helicopters, this impressive 2,001-piece set invites builders aged 11 and up to recreate the engineering brilliance of a real-world rotorcraft that saves lives in some of the harshest environments on Earth. From its sleek fuselage lines to its signature shrouded Fenestron tail rotor, every element has been designed to honor the authentic look and function of the H175.

The build itself is a true LEGO Technic experience, packed with mechanical functions that bring the model to life. Turn the discreet gear on the tail boom and watch the five-blade main rotor and tail rotor spin in unison, exactly like the real helicopter spooling up for takeoff. Operate the working rescue winch to lower a stretcher toward imaginary casualties below, open the side doors to reveal a cabin outfitted with medical gear, and retract the landing gear for cruise mode. Each function is engineered to deliver that unmistakable Technic satisfaction, where every click of a Technic pin reveals how the mechanisms interlock and move together.

Beyond the build, the finished model is a stunning display piece. Finished in a bold red, white and yellow rescue livery with authentic Airbus decals, the helicopter measures impressively long and stands tall on its deployed landing gear, ready to take pride of place on any shelf, desk or collection cabinet. The large-scale cockpit, intricate rotor hub and faithful proportions reward close inspection, making it just as rewarding to look at as it was to build.

Looking for a thoughtful gift for an aviation enthusiast, an engineering student, or a LEGO Technic collector? The Airbus H175 Rescue Helicopter is a standout choice that combines meaningful real-world inspiration with hours of hands-on building fun and lasting display appeal. Whether you are expanding a Technic aircraft collection, searching for a weekend project, or celebrating a passion for flight and rescue missions, this set delivers a build experience as rich and detailed as the aircraft that inspired it.
