Lord of the Rings: Rivendell

Step into the pages of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings and recreate one of Middle-earth's most beloved sanctuaries with the LEGO® Icons Lord of the Rings: Rivendell (10316) building set. This awe-inspiring 6,167-piece model captures the serene Elven valley in extraordinary detail, from its cascading waterfalls and arched stone bridges to the delicate, leaf-shaped rooflines that define Elrond's hidden refuge. Whether you're a devoted fan of Peter Jackson's film trilogy, a lifelong reader of Tolkien's novels, or an adult builder searching for a truly immersive LEGO project, this set invites you to lose yourself in a landscape where every tile, plate, and architectural flourish tells a story.

The building experience unfolds like a journey through Rivendell itself. Construct the iconic open-air gazebo where the Council of Elrond takes place, with the shards of Narsil displayed on their pedestal and a mosaic painting of Isildur confronting Sauron set into the floor. Explore Elrond's private study, Arwen's quiet chamber, Bilbo's writing room complete with his desk and manuscript of There and Back Again, and a dining area ready to welcome weary travelers. Modular sections let you rearrange, lift away, and reveal the richly furnished interiors, so the model offers just as much to discover after the final brick is placed as it does during the build.

Fifteen minifigures bring the saga to life, including Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Merry, Pippin, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Boromir, Gandalf the Grey, Elrond, Arwen, Bilbo Baggins, and two Elf guards, each with authentic costume detail and film-accurate accessories. Pose the full Fellowship around the council chamber, stage Gandalf's arrival at the gates, or recreate the quiet moment when Frodo awakens in Rivendell after his flight from the Nazgûl. The set is packed with tiny, screen-inspired references, from musical instruments and scrolls to Sting glowing on a side table, that reward close attention long after the build is complete.

Standing more than 15 in. (39 cm) tall and stretching 28 in. (72 cm) wide, Rivendell makes a stunning centerpiece for any shelf, study, or display cabinet, and arrives with a premium coffee-table-style instruction booklet featuring background on the model's design and the world of Middle-earth. It's an unforgettable gift for the Tolkien enthusiast in your life, a rewarding creative escape for experienced LEGO builders aged 18 and up, and a lasting tribute to one of the most magical places in all of fantasy literature.
